Turbo SSHuttle

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

Overview

Turbo SSHuttle is a macOS file transfer app for browsing local and SSH-connected file systems. The app is designed to run locally on your Mac and does not require a Turbo SSHuttle account.

Data Collection

Turbo SSHuttle does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer or third parties.

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a hosted backend service operated by Turbo SSHuttle.

Local Data

Turbo SSHuttle may store app settings and saved server/computer profiles locally on your Mac so they are available the next time you open the app.

If you choose to save an SSH password, the password is stored in macOS Keychain. SSH host fingerprints may be stored locally after you confirm them, so the app can recognize trusted hosts in future sessions.

File Transfers

When you use Turbo SSHuttle to connect to a server, the app communicates with the servers you choose using SSH/SCP/SFTP-style transfer behavior. File contents are transferred only between your Mac and the servers or file panels you select.

Turbo SSHuttle does not send your files to a Turbo SSHuttle server.

Third-Party Services

Any SSH server or remote computer you connect to is controlled by you or the organization that operates that server. Their own policies may apply to data stored or transferred through those systems.

Children's Privacy

Turbo SSHuttle is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Turbo SSHuttle's data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
