## Positioning

鬥獸棋 Classic is a cute version of the traditional Jungle Chess / Dou Shou Qi board game.

The founder story is personal: I played Dou Shou Qi as a child and wanted to bring back that childhood feeling, but many online versions feel like serious chess apps. This version keeps the classic rules while using cute animal pieces so it feels warmer and more approachable for children and families.

I made 鬥獸棋 Classic because I played Dou Shou Qi / Jungle Chess when I was young, and wanted to bring back that childhood feeling in a friendlier way.

Many versions online feel more like traditional chess apps. I wanted to make a cuter version that children can enjoy, while still keeping the classic animal ranks, rivers, traps, and dens.

It supports solo play against the computer and local two-player matches.

我小时候玩过斗兽棋，一直很想找回那种儿时的印象：规则不复杂，但是每一步都要想，动物之间有大小关系，也有河流、陷阱和兽穴。

后来我在网上看到一些斗兽棋，很多设计都比较像传统棋类，感觉比较严肃。我就想，如果做一个更可爱一点、比较适合小朋友玩的斗兽棋，会不会更接近我小时候喜欢它的感觉？

所以我做了 鬥獸棋 Classic。

它保留了经典斗兽棋的玩法，有单人电脑对战，也可以本地双人一起玩。棋子用了比较可爱的动物头像，希望它不是那种很严肃的棋类 app，而是小朋友也会觉得亲近、可爱，同时又有一点策略感的小游戏。
